Ali Nikzad, deputy speaker of the parliament, said in a virtual meeting of the parliament that the Strait of Hormuz has “driven the American–Israeli enemy into misery.”

The deputy speaker said: “Recent developments have led freedom-loving nations of the world to this conclusion that authority and security are not an importable and purchasable commodity, but rather an endogenous process based on the will of nations.”

Nikzad also added that the country cannot be administered “in wartime conditions with an ordinary approach,” and said: “The parliament has serious resolve to carry out reforms and will use all of its legal tools in this regard.”
