Ali Hossein Ghazi-Zadeh, a member of Iran International’s editorial board, said that regarding JD Vance’s remarks, the U.S. emphasis on preventing the Islamic Republic from rebuilding its nuclear capability goes beyond targeting nuclear facilities and could be a sign of readiness for a broader military campaign.

He also said that current conditions in the oil market have put additional pressure on European countries and could increase the likelihood of their alignment with the United States regarding the Islamic Republic.
