Maryam Iran-Dost is considered one of the most successful women’s football players in Iran. She also has a coaching record that includes a championship with Malavan and a runner-up finish with Sepahan.

In coaching as well, the most important part of her resume is her role in coaching the Iran women’s national football team. There, she was able to bring the national team, after years of delay, to the final stage of the Asian Women’s Championship and to etch her name in the history of women’s football in the country.
