Abbas Goudarzi, spokesperson for the Presidium of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, told Fars News Agency that the Islamic Republic’s withdrawal from the NPT and review of its nuclear doctrine “puts the United States in order and makes it sit in its place.”

He added that this is completely achievable and easy.

The representative for Borujerd in the Majlis said: “Trusting the United States only means accepting the enemy’s deception and trickery and moving into the arms of ruin and annihilation. Against the United States, only the language of force and the logic of power provides an answer.”

Goudarzi, regarding talks with the United States, said: “Any negotiation that weakens the front of resistance and gives the enemy breathing room is a strategic mistake and an unforgivable sin.”

Calling the Islamic Republic’s differences with the United States “inherent and based on principle,” the Majlis Presidium spokesperson said: “Those who talk about peace with the United States are seeking to prescribe and impose a surrender version.”
