Abba Bush, Sweden’s Deputy Prime Minister, at the sidelines of the gathering of Iranians against the Islamic Republic in Stockholm, told Mehran Abbasyan, a journalist with Iran International, that European governments should increase financial and economic pressure on the Islamic Republic, limit the movements of its officials, and take practical steps to stop executions and political trials.

He also emphasized that the Swedish government is required to protect Iranians living in this country from threats and pressures attributed to the intelligence apparatus of the Islamic Republic and to guarantee their freedom of expression and security.
