🔹Before the holiday, I bought a lidocaine spray for numbing my tooth for 35 thousand tomans; today I got the same spray from the same company for 465 thousand tomans.

🔹Everyone only talks about the rising prices of food, but nobody pays attention to how expensive basic hygiene items are—things like shampoo and soap, how expensive deodorants and cosmetics are, how expensive clothes are, and how expensive it is to go to a hair salon.

🔹I’m a shop owner. For months now, the government hasn’t settled the e-coupon (kala barg) with shopkeepers. That means the government is now paying people’s e-coupons from the shop owners’ pockets. I couldn’t stock the shop with new goods. Many shopkeepers no longer accept people’s e-coupons and say the coupon is “missing parts.”

🔹I’m sending this from Karaj. For more than two weeks, the government hasn’t deposited the e-coupon money, and it’s coming out of merchants’ own money. But if we don’t deposit our electricity payment for those two weeks, they cut off the electricity without informing us.

🔹In small villages in the north of the country, they have recently started cutting electricity under the pretext of maintenance; from 9:30 a.m. until about 3 p.m., and also another random two-hour time slot after that, they cut the power. That means we don’t have electricity for about 7 to 8 hours a day.

🔹In 1398 [2019/2020], I bought a motorcycle for 9 million and 800 thousand tomans; today, after 6 years, the same motorcycle has become 320 million tomans. It has increased by about 32 times.

🔹The salaries of the employees of Ata Airlines haven’t been paid for two months. Even with the claim of war conditions, they took out heavy loans from the bank, but when it comes to the employee, they say they don’t have the money.

🔹I’m sending this from Isfahan. We took my mother for physiotherapy because of knee pain. But because of unplanned electricity cuts, a lot of elderly patients were kept waiting in this heat, and a few people every day get stuck in the elevator at the center.
