Yemen’s government forces announced that Houthi militias, early Thursday, the 12th of Shahrivar, fired at least 10 missiles toward areas in Taiz province and the port of Hodeidah.

In the statement by Yemen’s government forces, no mention was made of targets or the damage resulting from these attacks.

The missile strikes were carried out amid escalating clashes on the ground between the two sides.

Yemen’s armed forces said they carried out at least seven military operations using drones, artillery, and rocket-launching systems against Houthi positions in the provinces of Marib, Al Bayda, and Ad Dali‘. They targeted the barracks, gatherings, and vehicles belonging to this group.

The United States and some regional countries, including Saudi Arabia and Israel, have placed the Houthis, supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the list of terrorist groups.
