With rising temperatures, intermittent power outages in Iran have increased, which, according to the Ministry of Energy, are partly unplanned and due to disruption and incidents in the grid.
Mohammad Hagh-dad, managing director of Tavanir, referring to the weather service warning about the rise in temperatures, called for saving electricity and said the total cost of each kilowatt-hour of electricity is 1,900 toman, which rs pay 800 toman for.
Experts say the root causes of the outages are chronic electricity imbalance, lack of investment, generation limitations, and a shortage of fuel for thermal power plants, and consider it likely that outages will continue as consumption grows and heat pressure increases.
