▪A Chinese media outlet reported that during the Beijing security conference, a senior Iranian military official and the head of a Saudi think tank argued with each other over the situation in the Middle East.
▪Beijing is a city where, a few years ago, the Islamic Republic and Saudi Arabia signed a peace agreement.
▪According to The South China Morning Post, Turki Al Faisal, head of the King Faisal Center for Islamic Research and Studies, accused the Islamic Republic of not respecting the “sovereignty of Arab countries.”
▪In response, Mohammad Taqi Ozanloo, deputy operations chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic, immediately rejected these remarks and claimed that the Islamic Republic’s attacks were only aimed at U.S. assets.
