TAMPA, Florida — The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) at 10:00 p.m. on July 14 Eastern Time (05:30 on Tir 24 in Iran time) concluded another round of attacks against Iran, targeting dozens of military sites near the Strait of Hormuz and in Iran’s coastal regions.

During this 7-hour wave of attacks, U.S. Air Force fighter jets, drones, and Navy vessels used precision-guided munitions, missile and drone positions, Iran’s naval capabilities, and coastal defense systems to further reduce Iran’s ability to threaten commercial ships and non-military personnel.

These attacks were carried out on the same day that U.S. forces resumed a maritime blockade against vessels traveling to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas. The blockade began today at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (23:30 in Iran time).

U.S. forces remain alert, deadly, and ready to carry out operations ordered by the Commander-in-Chief.
