▪ ABC News, citing a Department of Homeland Security bulletin, reported that in early August, cyber actors of the Islamic Republic used the DeepSeek artificial intelligence to research the capacity of storage tanks deployed in the United States.

▪ This action was “likely part of targeted research against industrial control systems of a U.S. energy entity.”
