🔸 US to send dozens of American air refueling aircraft to Israel amid fears of escalation in war with Iran

The United States, on the verge of a possible expansion of military operations against Iran, will send dozens more air refueling aircraft to Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport.

According to statements by Israeli officials, the decision has been made because this airport, compared with other regional bases, is less exposed to potential attacks by Iran.

Earlier, the Axios website reported that the United States has deployed about 30 military air refueling aircraft at Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv and roughly the same number at Ramon Airport in southern Israel.

This is while the deployment of this number of American aircraft at Ben Gurion Airport has become an issue for Israel. The Ministry of Transport and the Israel Airports Authority have warned that, if these aircraft are not moved, thousands of flights and about 50,000 tickets may be forced to be canceled.
