The Times of Israel, citing the Israeli army, reported the destruction of five Hamas tunnels in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

These tunnels, in total, were destroyed by reserve forces of the 14th Armored Brigade, with a length of two kilometers.

Previously, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz had reported the destruction and neutralization of more than 80% of Hamas tunnels in the area of Gaza under Israeli control.

The European Union, the United States, Israel, and several other countries have listed Hamas as a terrorist group.
