The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Islamic Republic Army claimed that US bases in Kuwait were targeted in an early-morning attack on Thursday.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in a statement, claimed that it targeted and destroyed “a large store of military equipment, a Patriot air defense system, and a hangar for US drones at the Ali al-Salem air base” with a drone strike.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also claimed an attack on “the quarters of American forces, two helicopter hangars at the Al-‘Udayri camp,” adding that “several forces were killed and injured,” and that it caused “damage to several helicopters and drones.”
At the same time, the Islamic Republic Army claimed that “the location of the storage of ammunition and logistical items of the US Army at the Al-Douhah base, fuel tanks at the Ali al-Salem base, and an ammunition depot at the Arifjan camp in Kuwait” were targeted by drone strikes.
These claims by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Islamic Republic Army cannot be verified by independent sources, and the US Army has not confirmed them yet.
