Smoke rose from the Al-Abdali border crossing on the Kuwait–Iraq border on Thursday, following what was described as the Islamic Republic’s attack in response to an earlier attack on the Shalamcheh border crossing in Iranian territory.

It is said that the attack on Shalamcheh had been carried out from the territory of Kuwait.
