🔻Bartina Koeman, the wife of Ronald Koeman, former head coach of the Netherlands national team, has died at the age of 65, after a long battle with cancer.

🔹Ronald Koeman reacted to this painful loss with a statement on behalf of the family and wrote: “With deep sorrow, but with pride and an immeasurable love, we say goodbye to our wonderful husband, mother and beloved grandmother.”

🔹Ronald and Bartina Koeman married in 1985 and lived together for more than four decades. Throughout Koeman’s playing career with teams such as Ajax, PSV, Barcelona and Feyenoord, as well as during his coaching career at prominent European clubs and the Netherlands national team, Bartina has always supported him.

🔹The football community has expressed condolences to Ronald Koeman’s family, his children, and his close relatives during this difficult time.
