Prince Reza Pahlavi, in a statement, blamed the Islamic Republic for the war, Iran’s isolation, and the current crises in the country, and described it as an anti-Iranian government.

Mahbubeh Moradi, a political activist, said that this message emphasizes support for the Iranian people and the reclaiming of Iran from the occupying regime of the Islamic Republic. She added that Iranians abroad are also trying to explain this narrative to the public opinion of the countries where they live—that the Islamic Republic is not the same as Iran and does not represent the Iranian people.
