Northeast China will deepen strategic cooperation with Russia’s Far East for the sake of shared prosperity, Vice Premier of China’s State Council Ding Xuexiang said.

“As the strategy for the development of Russia’s Far East is successfully implemented, the conditions for expansion of the infrastructure sector and other sectors in the region will steadily improve. All this opens up broader opportunities for deepening cooperation between China and Russia, as well as between Northeast China and the Russian Far East, for enhancing the well-being of both countries’ peoples,” he said at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
