Marco Rubio said about Iran: “I think the Chinese — and of course it’s better if they themselves comment on this — are not in favor of the actions that Iran has taken in the straits.”

He added: “China has openly stated that it opposes the collection of fees or any kind of restrictions on freedom of navigation in the straits.”

At the end, Rubio expressed hope that Beijing will remain in the same position.
