In the Campeones Cup (Super Cup Mexico–USA), which is held between the league champions of the United States and Mexico, Inter Miami succeeded in defeating Cruz Azul 2-0 and winning the title.

Lionel Messi scored his team’s first goal with a header after a cross from Suarez! With his corner delivery, Messi also set up the second goal for Casemiro, and he played the main role in his team’s championship.

This was Messi’s 49th championship trophy in his professional career, and it made his record more immortal—and even more so.
