🔶 Koosari: The UAE will pay the price for cooperation with the United States

Ismail Kowsari, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament, warned Gulf countries: “Regional governments should know that Iran is determined to defend its sovereignty and will not allow any country, backed by the United States, to target our national security.”

Kowsari referred to the cooperation of UAE fuel suppliers in recent attacks on Iran and accused the UAE of not only allowing the use of American bases in this country against Iran, but also playing a direct role in the U.S. attack on Iran by providing fuel and support. Kowsari described this cooperation as “hostile” and “a red line of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

This member of parliament threatened that “maritime, rail, and airport transportation infrastructure, as well as oil and gas facilities in the UAE, as part of America’s bases in the region, in case of the slightest action, will be a definite and legitimate target for Iran’s decisive response.”

In the 39-day war between the United States and Israel against Iran, the United Arab Emirates was targeted by more missile and drone attacks from Iran than other Gulf states and even Israel.
