The foreign ministries of Jordan and Bahrain condemned the Houthi attack on a ship belonging to a Saudi company in the Red Sea. The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attack as an open violation of international law, the Law of the Sea Convention, and a threat to the security and safety of maritime navigation. The Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said the attack poses a threat to shipping security, international trade, and energy supply, and called on the UN Security Council to take action to stop these attacks and hold those responsible accountable.
