📍 On the eve of the Jewish New Year, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, while congratulating this occasion to Iran’s Jewish community, wished the Iranian people freedom from “oppression and despotism.”

Katz told Iran’s Jews: “ You are part of the glorious history of the Jewish people and you will always be in our hearts.”

He added: “ I hope that the coming year will be spent by the Iranian people in an Iran freed from oppression and despotism.”
