🔶 Israel’s attack on southern Lebanon after issuing a warning about targeting one of Hezbollah’s positions

The Israeli army, in the early hours of Monday, 16 Shahrivar (7 September), asked residents of the Dier al-Zahrani area, located in southern Lebanon, to evacuate the area before an attack on Hezbollah positions.

The Israeli army said an explosive drone was launched toward its forces and that “Hezbollah’s terrorist activity forces the Israeli army to act against it with force.” In a message in Arabic, the Israeli army warned that it would target a “Hezbollah terrorist facility,” and that people who remain in the area would be at risk.

The Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese television network “Al-Manar” later reported Israeli airstrikes on Dier al-Zahrani.
