〰— Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says two oil tankers exploded and caught fire after hitting a mine in the Strait of Hormuz.

The IRGC claimed that the crews of these ships disembarked, encouraged by the U.S. Army, and handed the vessels over to American personnel so that the ships could be taken through a “non-legal” route.

The IRGC also said that it had previously warned shipping companies about the minefield and announced that companies that, instead of the route designated by Iran, follow the route proposed by the United States would face harsher punishments.
