Islamic Republic of Iran Railways, claiming that one point on the Hormozgan rail axis has been attacked by the United States, reported changes in the movement of trains departing from Bandarb Abbas station.
The public relations office of the company announced that restrictions will be applied for dispatching passenger trains from Bandarb Abbas station.
The state news agency IRNA claimed that the Bandarb Abbas railway junction station was targeted on Thursday evening, 25 Tir.
The junction station is located 10 kilometers west of Bandarb Abbas, and the point where the rails split is where the passenger and freight line, the Rajai terminal, and the Bandarb Abbas railway connect.
Earlier, the U.S. Army, in its latest wave of attacks, targeted several bridges related to the logistical routes of the Bandarb Abbas naval base.
