🔺 Islamic Republic attack on two regional mediators; six Arab countries targeted

▪ In retaliation for the U.S. attacks early Sunday morning on around 140 military targets in Iran, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Oman, the Islamic Republic carried out missile and drone strikes.

▪ In Oman, a security source said that several locations in the Musandam Governorate had been targeted by drone attacks. The Omani government condemned the attacks and said it would take all necessary measures to preserve the security of the country and its residents.

▪ The attack came as Oman is among the main mediators between the Islamic Republic and the United States in the current crisis. Abbas Araghchi also had discussed, in Oman the day before, with Badr Al Busaidi, the country’s foreign minister, the mechanisms for the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.
