Iran’s Armed Forces said that, as part of the so-called “Thunderbolt” operations, they targeted bases and military facilities linked to the United States in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan with suicide drones.
The Public Relations of the Iranian Army, in a statement, claimed that in the fifteenth phase of the “Thunderbolt” operations, suicide drones targeted “aircraft shelters, the location of fighter-jet deployment, and fuel tanks” at the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain. The statement also reported an attack on several communication bridges in Bahrain.
The Iranian Army had previously, in a statement about the fourteenth phase of these operations, said that “several U.S. bases and military facilities in Kuwait and Jordan” were targeted by drone attacks.
Based on this claim, ammunition storage of U.S. forces at the Al-Adairi camp, headquarters buildings, and ammunition stores at the Ali Al-Salem base in Kuwait, as well as fuel tanks at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan, were targeted.
Kuwait’s army confirmed the attack on several military centers and vital facilities in the country.
Jordan’s army said that this country’s air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 10 Iranian missiles that had entered Jordan’s airspace. According to Jordanian officials, these attacks resulted in no casualties or material damage.
