Immediate monitoring of a U.S. military flight toward northern Iraq For the first time, a strategic airlift aircraft, a C-17 Globemaster III belonging to the U.S. Air Force, has been visibly observed flying toward Erbil, Iraq.

Considered one of the main logistical pillars of the U.S. Army, the aircraft has the capacity to carry more than 77 tons of equipment and military cargo. According to assessments, it is possible that this flight was carried out in order to transfer equipment or munitions to forces deployed in Iraq’s Kurdistan region
