🔶 Houthis: Saudi Arabia carried out more than 30 airstrikes on various parts of Yemen

Iran-backed Houthi militants say Saudi Arabia has carried out more than 30 airstrikes on the provinces of Marib, Al-Jawf, Taiz and Hodeidah. Riyadh has not made an official response to the claim so far.

According to Agence France-Presse, the attacks came after the Houthis targeted oil facilities in southern Saudi Arabia. More than 70 people were injured in these attacks, and Saudi officials issued security warnings for the Najran, Jazan and the city of Abha regions.

At the end of July this year, the Houthis had announced a maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia. Since then, the group has taken responsibility for attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea and on the country’s oil facilities. At the same time, fighting between the Houthis and Yemen’s government forces has intensified again.
