Habib Qasemi, a member of the presiding board of the Article 90 Commission of the Parliament, told the Mehr News Agency: “To achieve true deterrence, we must move beyond focusing solely on U.S. bases and directly threaten and punish the enemy’s centers of sustenance on a trans-regional scale.”

Qasemi added that important infrastructure and equipment should be targeted so that the enemy understands that “when they snatched our peace, we will also snatch peace from them.” He also said that “the key to success against the enemy is unpredictability.”
