🔶 Germany accuses 7 suspected Hamas members of planning an attack

The Federal Prosecutor’s Office of Germany announced that it has issued an indictment against seven suspected members of the Hamas group on charges of procuring weapons for an attack in Germany and Austria.

According to German investigative authorities, the group had specific plans to attack Israeli or Jewish targets.

The German Federal Prosecutor’s Office believes the attack was intended to take place in early October 2025, and at a time close to the second anniversary of Hamas’s attack on Israel. The suspects have been detained in recent months inside and outside Germany.

According to reports, some of them were arrested in Denmark and Cyprus.

The charges brought against these individuals include membership in a terrorist organization, violations of weapons laws, and violations of the law regulating military weapons.

The German Federal Prosecutor’s Office said that Hamas’s military wing had started, some time ago, setting up weapons depots in Europe.

Based on findings by German authorities, senior Hamas officials had asked the accused to obtain weapons and ammunition in Germany.

This is not the first case by the German Federal Prosecutor’s Office against suspected Hamas members.
