Fox News, citing a new report by the Pentagon Inspector General, wrote that the «Rage of Honorable Anger» operation cost until Tir 8, 33. It had cost $3.3 billion and the attacks by the Islamic Republic have caused extensive damage to U.S. military and diplomatic facilities in the Middle East.

According to this report, $2.23 billion of the operation’s costs are related to the munitions consumed and $3.7 billion are related to equipment damage. The attacks by the Islamic Republic damaged or destroyed hundreds of buildings and structures at U.S. bases in eight countries in the region.

Dozens of U.S. aircraft were also damaged or destroyed, including four F-15Es, seven KC-135 refueling aircraft, one F-35E, one E-10, and up to 30 MQ-9 drones.

The Pentagon Inspector General also warned that munitions consumption has created a «strategic shortfall in stocks» and exposed shortages in the weapons production supply chain.

According to this report, U.S. diplomatic facilities in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have also suffered about $184 million in damage.
