Ban on rice imports during the harvest season

The Pricing and Policy-Making Council for Supportive Policies for essential agricultural products lifted the ban on rice imports and customs clearance during the harvest season for the year 1405.

Acting Head of the Deputy Ministry for Trade Development at the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad:

“There is no restriction on the supply of imported rice in the market, and this decision was made with the aim of helping to regulate the market and prevent price fluctuations.”
