🔻Bahrain supported Jordan by condemning attacks by the Islamic Republic

The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the continued attacks of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including missile attacks on Jordan.

The Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced full solidarity with this country’s position with Jordan and full support for all actions that Jordan takes to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as to ensure the safety of its citizens and residents.

The country also praised the vigilance of Jordan’s armed forces air defense system, which intercepted the missiles and thwarted the attacks.

In its statement, the Bahrain Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again called on the United Nations Security Council to carry out its responsibilities and take decisive measures to compel Iran to stop hostile actions against countries in the region—actions that contribute to reducing tensions and preserving peace and security in the region.

Alongside the recent attacks between Iran and the United States in the Persian Gulf, today, 18 Shahrivar (9 September), images were shared on social media showing the interception of Iranian missiles in the night sky over Jordan.
