Axios, citing two Israeli officials, reported that senior U.S. military commanders, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Egypt discussed the war with the Islamic Republic and regional tensions in a secret meeting in Germany last week. Axios reported that the secret meeting of military commanders in Germany was held at the initiative of Brad Cooper, the commander of CENTCOM. According to Axios, Brad Cooper, at the secret meeting in Germany, briefed Israeli and Arab military commanders on the U.S. plan to increase the traffic of ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
I24 reported that Eyal Zemir, the chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces, also briefed his Arab counterparts on Israeli army operations across different fronts over the past six months.
