Along with the continuation of the advance by Yemen’s legitimate government forces against the Houthis in the province of Taiz, Al-Hadath, citing a military source, reported that Yemen’s armed forces took control of Sa‘id Taher hill and the Dhiban area in the Hayfan district, in southern Taiz, and removed these areas from the control of the Houthis.

The day before as well, Yemen’s legitimate government forces retook military positions in the Al-Tuwair front in the Maqbana area of Taiz province from the Houthis.

Yemen’s government forces also announced that the country’s air force bombed positions of Houthi forces affiliated with the Islamic Republic in western Taiz.

Meanwhile, Al-Arabiya, citing Yemen’s army, reported that hundreds of Houthi militia members on Yemen’s western coast were killed and wounded.

The head of the Leadership Council of Yemen’s presidential council, with a warning that the Houthis do not hesitate to sacrifice civilians in order to further their reckless adventures, emphasized that Yemen will not allow the Islamic Republic and its proxies to gain control of Bab al-Mandab.
