Amir Hayatmoqaddam, a member of the board of the National Security Commission of the Parliament, told the House of Iranian Parliament News Agency (House News Agency): “We must obtain some weapons and equipment and showcase them in order to target American soil. In reality, we must unveil long-range ballistic missiles and target their military bases in Washington and New York.”

Hayatmoqaddam added: “We must design a fundamental and strategic plan to counter U.S. hegemony and force this country to leave the region, and use the Islamic Republic’s defensive and deterrent capabilities more effectively.”

This member of parliament further said: “Americans do not learn lessons from their own behavior, and for this reason we must act in such a way that the enemy becomes sorry for repeating invasions and incursions into the soil of our country.”
