Amid an upsurge in military tensions in the region, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, during a phone call, reviewed the latest developments.

In the conversation between “Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani,” the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, and “Faisal bin Farhan,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, the two countries’ diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions—so that security and stability in the region are preserved—were discussed and exchanged.

The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar also once again expressed the opposition and condemnation of his country regarding attacks by Houthi militia forces against non-military and economic facilities in southern areas of Saudi Arabia.
