🔺Al-Aaraji: The United States will remove its air defense systems from Iraq’s Kurdistan Region

▪ Qasim Al-Aaraji, the security adviser to the Iraqi prime minister, said that the coalition forces will fully withdraw from Iraq by September 30, and that this withdrawal will also include the coalition’s air defense systems, including those deployed in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region.

▪ Al-Aaraji said this action is being carried out within the framework of an agreement signed between the Government of Iraq and the international coalition, and that the U.S. side has also announced its readiness to implement it within the specified deadline.

▪ Baghdad and the international coalition have set September 30 of this year as the final deadline to end the coalition’s military mission against ISIS in Iraq and to complete the withdrawal of its forces.
