According to the weekly report of the country’s seismological center affiliated with the Geophysics Institute of the University of Tehran, in the period from 31 Mordad to 6 Shahrivar 1405, a total of 81 earthquakes were recorded in Iran, of which 73 had a magnitude of less than three and the other eight had a magnitude between 3 and 4.

The report states that Semnan Province, with 14 recorded earthquakes, and Razavi Khorasan Province, with 11 cases, accounted for the largest share of this figure. It also says that the «Aradan» region in Semnan, with four earthquakes, was identified as the most frequent seismic point in the country during this period. In addition, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 on the second day of Shahrivar in Lorestan was introduced as the most prominent earthquake recorded in this weekly period, and in 13 provinces of the country no seismic event was recorded during this time.
