According to published reports, residents of the village of Nurabad Hanzaran in the county of Iranshahr have been facing a shortage of piped water for about 25 years and are forced to travel roughly 10 kilometers to supply the water they need for their daily lives.

According to Havus, despite officials’ promises, the water shortage problem in this village remains unresolved, and residents do not have access to a reliable supply of drinking water.
