🔻 Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, “praised” the Acting U.S. Navy Secretary for his “frankness”

🔻 Abbas Araqchi, Iran’s foreign minister, “expressed appreciation” for the acting head of the U.S. Navy Department’s “frankness,” and emphasized that Iran’s armed forces truly smashed the U.S. forces’ headquarters in Bahrain.

Citing Hong Kao, the acting head of the U.S. Navy Department, the Epoch Times had written that Iran’s armed forces “destroyed” the command headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.

In the Epoch Times piece, it said the U.S. Navy is currently “assessing” what to do with its command headquarters in Bahrain.

Mr. Kao had made these comments to the Epoch Times after visiting a shipbuilding plant in Philadelphia.

The newspaper wrote: “While open-source images show damage to the Bahrain naval base, Mr. Kao’s remarks are a direct and official acknowledgment of the impact of the clashes on these facilities.”
