🔶Funeral procession held for Zahra Haddad Adel without her husband Mojtaba Khamenei Iranian media reported that the funeral procession for Zahra Haddad Adel, the wife of Mojtaba Khamenei, was held on Wednesday night, Tir 10 (July 1), at Tehran Culture School. Mojtaba Khamenei and other sons of Ali Khamenei were absent from the ceremony, and it is not clear whether Mojtaba Khamenei will attend his father’s funeral procession or not. Since the start of the war and the killing of his father, he has not only failed to appear in public, but no image or audio of him has been released either, which has led to many speculations about his physical condition and fate. Zahra Haddad Adel was killed on Esfand 9, 1404 during the U.S. and Israeli attack on the residence of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic. In that attack, several other members of the Khamenei family, including his son-in-law and grandson, were also killed. Zahra Haddad Adel, born in 1358, was the third child of Gholamali Haddad Adel and one of the managers of Culture’s humanities science schools. She married Mojtaba Khamenei in 1377.
