🗣 Your account of life in the next round of clashes — Friday, 2 Mordad:
🔹I am a dairy truck driver in Tehran. The situation with diesel is very bad, and there is very little diesel. Many company trucks are parked because there is no diesel; to get diesel, you have to stand in line for four or five hours.
🔹In most fuel stations in Rabat Karim, you can’t find diesel.
🔹I’m writing from Mashhad and I’m a truck driver. Not only have they reduced the diesel quota, but the quota for the second eight hours of the day is also not usable. A driver who has to drive more than a thousand kilometers carrying loads of foodstuffs and produce—what can he do in this situation?
🔹I’m writing from Bushehr; the government doesn’t pay the farmers their wheat money. They’ve worn us out.
🔹In parts of the Bandar Torkaman area, in a 24-hour period, the tap water supply is connected for only two hours. And that’s often between 2 and 4 a.m.
🔹The pensions of retirees don’t even cover a full week of living expenses.
