The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that its forces carried out another round of attacks on the Islamic Republic at 10:30 p.m. Eastern Time on July 22, for the twelfth consecutive night.
According to CENTCOM, these attacks targeted the Islamic Republic’s naval capabilities, missile and drone warehouses, coastal monitoring facilities, and air defense systems, further reducing the Islamic Republic’s ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial ships.
CENTCOM also said that American forces this month have targeted dozens of military targets of the Islamic Republic on Iranian soil, and have simultaneously resumed the maritime blockade of Iran. According to this command, so far the routes of nine commercial ships have been changed, and one ship has also been rendered inoperable in order to prevent vessels from entering or leaving Iranian ports.
CENTCOM added that more than 50,000 US military personnel are stationed across the Middle East and are on full readiness.
