U.S. CENTCOM ended the latest wave of attacks against Iran
TAMPA, Florida — U.S. forces ended their 7th consecutive night of attacks against Iran at 9:30 p.m. on July 17 Eastern Time (05:00 Iran time).
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) targeted Iran’s monitoring and surveillance facilities, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons depots, and naval capabilities. In this operation, U.S. forces used fighter jets, drones, warships, and other military equipment.
At the direction of the Commander in Chief, CENTCOM, while fully carrying out a maritime blockade against Iranian ports, continues to hold this country accountable for its actions.
More than 50,000 U.S. military personnel across the Middle East are carrying out their missions and remain vigilant, prepared, and fully combat-capable.
