The latest wave of U.S. attacks on Iran has ended
Tampa, Florida — The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) late on July 15 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time (04:30 Iran time) brought a new wave of attacks against Iran to an end.
U.S. forces targeted command-and-control centers, air defense positions, missile and drone capabilities, and Iran’s coastal monitoring facilities, to further reduce Iran’s ability to threaten non-military seafarers working on commercial vessels transiting through the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM used precision-guided munitions to strike targets in several locations, including Bandar Abbas.
This morning as well, U.S. forces, during a wave of attacks that lasted 90 minutes, targeted coastal defense positions and cruise missile sites on the Greater Tunb island.
The U.S. Army will hold Iran accountable for its actions, as directed by the Commander in Chief.
