The IRGC Navy, by issuing a statement, has warned of the imminent targeting of oil tankers stationed in ports and in the waters off the coasts of Bahrain and Kuwait, and has asked their crew to “leave immediately.”

In a statement released on Tuesday evening, the IRGC Navy said the move is in response to the targeting of Iranian oil tankers by the U.S. Army, adding that “all crews of the oil tankers in the area of the Kuwait and Bahrain berths” have been warned because the two countries host American forces.

The statement goes on to say: “We warn that you should leave your vessel immediately, whether in anchorage or at the berths, as it will be targeted.”
