The dollar in Iran’s free market reached about 228,000 tomans on Saturday; more than 40,000 tomans higher than 10 days ago. The euro also surpassed 263,000 tomans. At the same time, the sharp decline in oil exports and the intensification of U.S. economic pressures have increased pressure on the Islamic Republic’s foreign exchange resources and the value of the rial.
